Loyola Sacred Heart offers a faculty, staff and administration that bring personal caring, a faith commitment, depth of knowledge, and generosity of time and talent.
Typically, the student/teacher ratio is 15:1. The average faculty member has been teaching for 13 years, coaches or advises at least one co-curricular activity, and is actively involved in their respective church / faith life. Thirty-two percent of the faculty members hold graduate degrees.
With approximately 20 members, LSH is fortunate to have an outstanding group of teachers in its school. Many of the current faculty have been recognized on the local, state, and national level for their expertise in education. Recognition from the National Endowment for Humanities, the International Science Engineering Fair, the National Presidential Scholars, and the Wal-Mart Regional Teacher Program, honor the current faculty and continue to provide accolades for a group of dedicated educators at LSH.
The Guidance and Counseling Department assists each student individually to understand self, personal opportunities, and to help develop fully each student's potential. Counselors meet with students on an individual basis to develop strategies for academic and lifelong success. Along with personal and career guidance, the Guidance and Counseling Department advises students with regard to their application and scholarship process for college, with a stellar record in placing graduates from LSH in Tier One Academic schools throughout the nation.

Note from the President
Welcome back to another great year of Catholic education! I would like to take stock and thank all of you and acknowledge our blessings. The greatest blessing is the amazing families and staff at Missoula Catholic Schools. Your generous, spirit-filled energy and care makes these schools a special place. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we look forward to providing the same outstanding education to our students, once again. We have spent the summer preparing for another school year at both St. Joseph and Loyola Sacred Heart. The schools are ready for the return of the students and are set to continue the tradition of excellence set before us! My role as President is keeping me busy with upcoming accreditation at St. Joseph, curriculum reviews, and many other important MCS ventures which will continue the educational improvement of Missoula Catholic Schools. My office is now located in the MCS business office wing of the Foundation building at 300 Edith Street. I look forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks. Have some great final days of summer!
